I tried to fight the apathy, but didn't make it. All of a sudden the end of the month was upon me, and I hadn't knit any more swatches! Argh!
Okay, December is my final month - I have to make it good!

Unfortunately, that was the end of my swatching for October - it was a pretty bad month for swatches. I think its because I keep looking at the existing pile of swatches and getting a little overwhelmed by its size - because at some point, I'm going to have to sew all of them into one big blanket! :-O

(Unintentional) Swatching Hiatus #2
So it looks like I have absolutely failed to make any swatches for the last week - how frustrating! This week it seemed like everything I'd been working on and/or planning over the last few weeks all had to be finished at the same time, so I guess the swatching had to slip. But let me submit this as a sort of replacement swatch:
Six stripes of acrylic in six randomly chosen patterns, now happily adorning a sandwich board at work (not its intended purpose, granted, but a sufficient substitute). If you saw it in person, you would also see that the purple and beige stripes in the middle can double as a (very deliberate) example of why one should never try to steam block acrylic! :)

The Stanley cup playoffs were too stressful to allow for knitting, and then I just sat in shock watching those morons riot downtown, so I didn't knit a swatch today...

Don't worry, I'm still here! We went on vacation for 10 days, so there had to be a lapse in swatches!
