Yarn: Patons Beehive Shetland Chunky, 75% Acrylic/25% Wool, in Dark Teal

Needles: 5.5mm / 9 US

Gauge: 3.5 sts and 5.25 rows per inch

Stitch Pattern: Seaweed

Source: BW2, p. 10.

Comments: This stitch could be a good one for a scarf, since there is no proper "right side" - the image on the left has the even-numbered rows, while the image on the right shows the odd-numbered rows.  It also benefits from not being harshly blocked, because once you flatten it, you lose much of the wavy nature of the stitch.  I think this could be really striking in a yarn that shows stitch definition really well!
