Yarn: Rowan Wool Cotton, DK weight 50% Cotton/50% Wool, in Gypsy

Needles: 4 mm / 6 US

Gauge: 5 stitches and 6.25 rows per inch

Stitch Pattern: Reverse engineered

Source: A machine-knit, store bought item

Comments:  This one is for you Darcy! :)   I think DK weight is too heavy - it loses the delicacy of the pattern.  The original gauge is 8 sts/inch, which means its a 2 ply/laceweight yarn...   I wonder how it would look in a slightly fuzzy fingering weight yarn?

  1. I wonder if a sport weight alpaca even? Or some laceweight mohair with another laceweight or light light fingering?

The color of this yarn is gorgeous tho!
