Needles: 3.5mm /US 4 and 3 mm
Gauge: 5.5 stitches x 9 rows per inch on 3.5mm needles

Comments: The book suggests that this stitch looks best in a fine yarn knit on fine needles... I think I should've used smaller needles for the narrow sections. I'd also like to try this with two different yarns to emphasize the ruching... I think I've seen that in a blanket pattern somewhere - I think I'll have to go track that one down now. :)
