No swatch today because I am very much unimpressed with knitting at the moment. I knit and frogged an entire hat because the "7-101 year size" ended up being perfectly suited to a 4 year-old's head. Serves me right for actually following a pattern that had no gauge, no reference to the type of yarn needed (even when it comes with a kit, "100m of yarn" is not enough information!!"), was missing one set of numbers (5 sizes listed, 5 cast-on amounts, but only 4 sets of numbers the rest of the way through), and doesn't give finished sizes.
This time when I knit it, I'm making my own pattern!
