Comments: This is a text swatch for a sweater I want to make - the pattern calls for this yarn, but somehow their gauge is much tighter - 19 sts/4" to my 17.5 sts/4". Guess I'll be doing a little math to make this one fit. I had heard that this yarn grows quite a bit, and it does - pre-washing this measured 5" wide, post-washing it is 5.5" wide. This is why you need to wash your swatches before measuring gauge!
PS: This really is black yarn, despite how it looks here!
