Yarn: Rowan Wool Cotton, DK weight 50% Cotton/50% Wool, in Citron and Smalt

Needles: 4 mm / US 6

Gauge: 4.5 stitches x 8.5 rows per inch

Stitch Pattern: Instant Plaid

Source: BW3, p. 236.

Comments:  This faux-plaid is made with slipped stitches - for the longer ones, you wrap the yarn twice so that it carries nicely, without puckering the fabric.  Very fun effect, but I fear the slipped stitches would catch on things too easily, and get ruined.  Oh well...  (ps: that is a greenish yarn for the background, its not just your eyes!) ;)
