Yarn: Lion Brand Cotton-Ease - 50% Cotton/50% Acrylic, in Terracotta

Needles: 4mm / US 6

Gauge: 5 stitches x 11 rows (or 5.5 garter ridges) per inch

Stitch Pattern: Garter stitch medallion, made using short rows, and (eventually) joined using a garter graft.

Source: Knitter's Handbook, p. 104-105

Comments:  I'm not very good at making neatly turned short rows, so I thought I little practice might be in order.  Got a little carried away with it, and now it will make a nice dishcloth or facecloth or something.  I have yet to graft it together because as I told Mike, grafting after midnight is never a good idea!  :)
